Quality Inspector Location: Wimborne Employment Type: Full-time / PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and validating the quality of parts and assemblies, providing specialist inspection capability across business functions, and supporting compliance with engineering and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform goods inwards product quality and paperwork checks (CofC, Purchase Orders, etc.) in line with business processesInspect partially and fully completed parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering requirementsRaise non-conformance reports (NCRs) for issues detected at goods-in stageSupport production by detecting and resolving non-conformitiesProvide ad-hoc business support, including inspection and measurement of productsLiaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queriesSupport Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality Engineering where requiredParticipate in the internal calibration programme for measurement equipmentEnsure compliance with health and safety obligationsCore CompetenciesStrong background in quality control and inspection techniquesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancingKnowledge of non-conformance processesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Knowledge of PT21 processes (preferred)Key BehavioursStrong attention ..... full job details .....
