Quality Inspector

Market 36 Recruitment are recruiting for a-Quality Inspector-on behalf of our client based in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business supplying components for some of the world''s most prestigious automotive programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect carbon fibre and machined components to customer specifications.
• Carry out first-off inspections on machined parts.
• Measure components using verniers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Produce inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
• Ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment (5S).
• Support continuous improvement within the inspection department.

About You

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent using measuring equipment including verniers and micrometers.
• Good IT skills and experience producing quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
