Quality Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established client operating within the Precision Engineering sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong background in precision engineering and hands-on experience programming CMMs from CAD models. The Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that precision-engineered components meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. You will work closely with the production and engineering teams, using a range of inspection equipment and techniques to verify dimensional accuracy and product quality. Key responsibilities will include: Inspecting precision-engineered components to drawing, specification and customer requirements. Programming and operating CMMs using CAD models. Carrying out dimensional inspection using a range of conventional and specialist metrology equipment. Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models and GDandT. Identifying and reporting non-conformances and supporting corrective actions. Producing accurate inspection reports and maintaining quality documentation. Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
