Quality Inspector

Quality/CMM Inspector Gloucestershire - Permanent - Full time - Days - Salary £32,000 Responsibilities: Carry out inspection activities on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections against engineering drawings and customer specifications. Complete goods-inward inspections and verify supplier-provided components meet required standards. Conduct dimensional inspections using a range of conventional measuring equipment. Support the creation and completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and associated documentation. Accurately record inspection findings and maintain quality records for traceability and audit purposes. Identify non-conforming products and work with production teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions. Assist with internal quality audits and support compliance with relevant quality management systems. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and improve product conformity. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analysing inspection data and identifying opportunities for process enhancement. Ensure all inspection equipment is maintained, calibrated and fit for purpose. Contribute to the development of inspection procedures, work instructions and quality documentation.
