GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with an engineering company who are experts in precision engineering, located in Tewkesbury. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Product Inspector to join their team on a full time, permanent, basis. To be considered for this position you must demonstrate previous experience in a precision engineering environment, where manufacturing is focused on designing and producing parts with extremely tight tolerances. This position is working Monday Thursday 08:00am 17:00pm with a Friday finish of 13:00pm offering an hourly rate up to £17 p/h pending relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspection of all parts produced against the design intent using a variety of inspection equipment including physical gauging, CMM, Trimos height gauge, shadowgraph, hardness testers etc. The Inspector is responsible for ensuring that product has been produced to customer specifications and that production batch quantities are maintained through effective quality control. This position would be ideal for anyone with previous product inspection experience within an engineering setting, or an individual with machining/shop floor measurement experience, looking to move into inspection.
