Quality Inspector Permanent Opportunity (Southend) Are you an experienced quality professional with an engineering background? Our client, a respected manufacturer in Southend, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.What You ll Do: Oversee quality assurance throughout the production process, ensuring products meet both internal standards and customer expectations. Perform inspections and validations of components at various stages of manufacture. Prepare and complete First Article Inspection reports. Handle non-conformance issues for both suppliers and customers, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Work closely with colleagues to meet quality and output goals. Contribute to embedding quality practices within the manufacturing workflow. Serve as an authorised signatory for quality releases. What We re Looking For: Solid engineering background with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Hands-on experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable. Previous involvement in quality control or assurance roles. Recent experience with First Article Inspections and internal/external audits. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers. Eagerness to learn new technologies, such as Laser Measuring Machine programming. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
