Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Stonehouse Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday Salary: 28,000 Key Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector: Perform first-off inspections and complete first article reports in line with customer and internal requirements Carry out in-process and final inspections against engineering drawings and specifications Conduct incoming goods inspection Use a range of inspection equipment and guages Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation Identify and report non-conforming products in line with procedures Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities Ensure all equipment is within calibration prior to use Maintain a clean, organised inspection area Support internal audits, 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives Key Skills of a Quality Inspector: Previous experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment Experience using inspection devices and guages High level of attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop skills in an inspection department Good communication skills, both written and verbal IT literate with experience completing electronic inspection reports ..... full job details .....
