Initially the role will be very focused on inspection, getting used to our parts and processes.  We use various pieces of equipment including: hand tools such as mics and verniers, but also a Sylvac laser scanning shaft measurer, shadowgraphs, thread mics, inspection cameras and checks with mating parts.  You would be trained to use our laser etcher to mark parts.  We use various sub contractors and inspecting their work, as well as supporting them to improve their performance, will be necessary. Inspection reports will need to be created on the PC and saved to enable them to be uploaded onto customer portals. As the person progresses, and with training, we would hope they would take on customer communication, NCR replies, using customer portals, and concession requests.  Further training and advancement within the quality area is encouraged.
