Quality Inspector

CNC Miller Setter/Operator 



Paying up to  £14.00 to £15.00 dependant on experience 
Hours of work: 08:00-16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 - 12:00 Friday
Overtime available at an enhanced rate

The role is based in Wellingborough and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas.

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector 
 
The Role: Quality Inspector 
 

•  To visually inspect a component to ensure it meets acceptance standards.
• Physically measure components and tools to ensure they meet design and standard specifications.
•  Strictly follow planning sheets/work instructions for the inspection activity
• To identify and report all non-conformances and follow quality procedures.
•  To liaise with the production operators regarding quality requirements to drive continuous improvement.

• Experience with quality inspection in an engineering environment 
• Experience in using standard measuring equipment ( Digital Calipers, Micrometers, Plug Gauges etc) 
• Good computer literacy with a competent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to read engineering drawings 
• Good communication skills
