Quality Inspector

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join a well-established organisation in Birmingham. This role involves ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards within the industrial and manufacturing industry.

Description

• Conduct detailed inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document and report inspection findings accurately for internal use.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
• Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during inspections.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Support the quality team in relation to the procedures for ISO 9001 and 14001
• Ensure that SOP''s are adhered to, deviations from process should be highlighted and if necessary, the SOP reviewed to ensure the process is correct and up to date

Profile

A successful Quality Inspector should have:

• A strong understanding of quality control processes within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
• Experience with inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or manufacturing disciplines.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
