Quality-Inspector
- Day shift position with an early Friday finish!-
- Responsible for first off, stage, and final inspection of a range of bespoke precision components.
- Overtime readily available.
Salary:-c-17.00 per hour. Days only role.
We are recruiting for an experienced-Quality-Inspector-to join an established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within a range of sectors. Training can be provided in certain areas for the right person. We do need someone from a Mechanical / Precision Engineering Inspection background due to the nature of components manufactured within the business.
Quality-Inspector-Activities & Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional inspection of machined parts to drawings and specifications.
- Inspections to be carried out using manual equipment such as Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, screw ring and plug gauge, height gauges, projector etc.
- CMM experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
- Carry out first off, stage, and final inspection.
- Maintain inspection documents.
Required Skills & Experience as-Quality-Inspector:
- Proven-quality-Inspection experience within an engineering environment.
- Understanding of GD+T and the ability to read and understand drawings
- A formal engineering qualification/apprentice trained would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Competent using Excel and word.
