Quality Control Engineer / Clerk of Works / InspectorLocation: PlymouthDuration: 12 months FTC (Inside IR35)Salary: Up to £58000 DOEHours: Night Shift, 40-45 hours per week About the RoleDue to continued growth, we are seeking a number of experienced Quality Control Engineer / Clerk of Works / Inspector to join a major infrastructure programme in Plymouth.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile project, providing quality oversight across civil, mechanical, electrical, welding and fabrication activities throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure that works are delivered to the highest standards, meeting client, regulatory and project requirements.Key Responsibilities Monitor defects and rectification activities, ensuring NCRs are raised, tracked and closed out. Verify compliance with project specifications, works information and client requirements. Prepare and contribute to quality reports and inspection records. Conduct on-site quality inspections and surveillance activities. Support off-site inspections of suppliers and manufacturers. Witness inspections, testing activities and review associated documentation. Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) are implemented and maintained. Support FATs, SATs and acceptance testing activities. Assist with preparation and development of quality documentation and procedures.
