With a strong order book and further investment in inspection equipment, these opportunities offer the chance to join a business manufacturing high-specification components. The successful individuals will operate CMM and manual inspection equipment, ensuring components meet tight tolerances and customer specifications. Quality Inspector duties include - Inspect precision components using CMM equipment and manual measuring tools. Set up components, fixtures and probes, running existing CMM inspection programmes. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and GD&T requirements. Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections, producing accurate reports and maintaining traceability. Interpret measurement results, identify non-conforming components and communicate findings to Quality and Production.
