Based in Trafford they require a Quality Inspector from a machine shop background. Your Day to day duties in the role Inspection of high precision machined parts, both visual & using verniers & gauges. Experience/Skills and Education Requirements Ability to read engineering drawings Ability to use a wide range of inspection equipment – Micrometres, Vernier’s etc. Detailed inspection of a wide range of precision components and fabrications in accordance with engineering drawings and written specifications. Good organisational skills, record keeping and ability to prioritise tasks. Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative to think through problems to find solutions within agreed guidelines. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to question a process and suggest possible improvements. Experience Experience in all inspection functions and activities. Experience of operating computing equipment for data processes.
