Quality Inspector / Quality Manager Precision Machining Location: Bradford Job type: Permanent, full-time Salary: £20 £23 per hour (overtime available) Hours: Monday Thursday 7:00am 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am 2:30pm The opportunity ABS Talent is recruiting a Quality Inspector / Quality Manager on behalf of a well-established precision machining client. This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality professional to join a precision machine shop, ensuring machined components meet customer specifications, engineering drawings and industry standards. You''ll play a key role in supporting continuous quality improvement identifying defects, documenting findings, and working closely with machinists and engineers to resolve issues. The role Perform first article, in-process and final inspections on precision machined components Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers/calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, bore gauges, surface plates and CMM (as applicable) Document inspection results clearly using company documentation Identify and communicate non-conforming product and support root cause analysis Work with machinists and production staff to correct dimensional issues and feed back on quality trends Assist in maintaining the calibration and cleanliness of inspection equipment About you Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a precision machining / engineering ..... full job details .....
