Job Title: Quality Inspection Operative Location: Sheffield Salary: 13.89 - 14.43 + Shift Allowance Hours: Rotating Shifts6:00am - 2:00pm2:00pm - 10:00pmEarly finish on Fridays (6-hour shift)Overview: We are recruiting for a Quality Inspection Operative / Quality Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong precision engineering or manufacturing background who takes pride in ensuring high-quality finishes and working to precise standards.The jobTo ensure all products manufactured meet customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements through inspection, testing and verification activities. The job role supports the manufacture of precision components for a variety of specialist industries, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings and quality management systems.Main duties and responsibilities: Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of components.Perform dimensional inspection using a wide range of inspection equipment including verniers and gaugesConduct visual inspection of components to identify defectsVerify product conformity against manufacturing routes, inspection specifications and internal work instructions.Complete inspection reportsRaise and record non-conformances and assist with containment activities.Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.Approve products for progression through manufacturing or release to customers.Monitor ..... full job details .....
