Quality, Health and Safety Manager

We are working with a well-established engineering manufacturer to recruit a Quality and Health and Safety Manager. This is a key senior appointment created due to retirement, offering full ownership of quality and HandS systems across the business. The Role You will take responsibility for both Quality and Health and Safety across the site, ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: Leading quality inspection processes and ensuring product compliance Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to support manufacturing standards Managing ISO systems (including audits, documentation, and ongoing compliance) Driving health and safety standards across production, including hot work environments (press, forge, foundry) Investigating and resolving quality and safety issues, implementing preventative actions Working closely with production teams to embed best practice on the shop floor Maintaining accurate records and reporting using IT systems and quality databases This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone confident working across both operational and strategic levels.
