Our client is a long established and highly respected name in the offsite construction manufacturing sector. They provide a range of top-class products to clients in a wide range of sectors across the UK.

They are currently looking to recruit a Quality, Health and Safety Manager to be based at their Tamworth office.

The main duties of the role are:

• Maintaining and monitoring the businesses ISO standards: ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation, and provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Lead the development and review of risk assessments and method statements.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement suitable control measures.
• Develop and deliver health and safety training programmes.
• Support managers in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities.
• Monitor key health and safety performance indicators.
• Review contractor terms and conditions, highlighting any potential concerns to senior management.
• Assess contractor competence.
• Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements.
• Lead internal health and safety audits.
• Support external audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Significant experience managing Health and Safety
• Experience developing and implementing health and safety management systems.
• Experience of maintaining ISO standards.
• Experience carrying out audits and workplace inspections.
• Experience delivering health and safety training.
• Experience interpreting and applying UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting incident investigations.
• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 Health and Safety qualification).
• Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
• Excellent communication and management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

In return for the above, our client will offer a salary in the range of -50k55k, negotiable on experience, plus benefits.
