Quality Engineer - Carbon Capture Project (RC Structures) Freelance Outside IR35 Location: North East, UK Sector: Carbon Capture and Energy Infrastructure Employer: Leading RC Structures and Civil Engineering contractor The Opportunity We are recruiting experienced Quality Engineers to join a specialist reinforced concrete structures subcontractor delivering a major Carbon Capture project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK''s most significant low-carbon infrastructure developments, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance, compliance and technical excellence throughout project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing project quality procedures, managing inspection and test plans, reviewing construction documentation and ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain project Quality Assurance procedures. Prepare, review and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Review and approve construction RAMS from a quality perspective. Carry out site inspections and quality audits of RC structures and associated works. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards and client requirements. Maintain quality records and handover documentation.
