TXM Recruit is partnering with a specialist engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Engineering Manager for its Coatbridge operation. This is a senior leadership role within a business manufacturing technically complex, mission-critical products for aerospace, defence and advanced engineering applications. You ll lead a Quality Engineering team of around 10 people, take ownership of the AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product quality, process capability and operational performance. This is not purely a systems or compliance role. We re looking for someone who is technically credible, comfortable on the shop floor and able to develop people, solve complex manufacturing problems and influence standards across the wider business. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a Quality Engineering team of approximately 10. Own and continuously improve AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Lead internal, supplier, customer, and certification audits. Drive non-conformance management, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
