      <description>Location: Stoke-on-Trent | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum + company benefits | Type: Permanent | Quality Engineer - Automotive Assembly - circa -50k   We are recruiting a  Quality Engineer - Automotive Assembly  to support the launch of a new automotive assembly operation. This role offers a unique opportunity to embed quality into processes from day one, working in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment.   Key Responsibilities     Establish and maintain quality control processes in line with  IATF 16949  and  ISO 9001     Conduct audits and inspections of assembly operations    Monitor quality KPIs including scrap, defects, and customer complaints    Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)    Support new product launches and engineering changes (APQP)    Maintain quality documentation (Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP)    Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams on quality issues    Train production staff on quality standards and best practices     Requirements     Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar    Minimum  3 years'' experience  in automotive quality engineering    Strong knowledge of  IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)    Knowledge of  VDA 6.3 / V...</description>
