      <description>Location: Telford | Salary: &amp;pound;465 - &amp;pound;466/day Inside IR35 | Type: Contract | Quality Engineer    Location:  Telford (2 days per week onsite initially, reducing to 2 days per month after the first 3 months)   Rate:  -465 per day (Inside IR35)   Start Date&amp; contract length:  November 2026 - 12 months contract    Clearance:  BPSS Required      About the Role   A leading Government client is seeking an experienced  Quality Engineer  to join a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on modernising critical public sector services.        Key Responsibilities    Design and implement test automation frameworks and solutions from the ground up.  Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and risk-based testing approaches.  Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left quality practices.  Coach and mentor team members on quality engineering principles and best practices.  Perform testing across multiple levels, including:   Unit Testing  System Testing  Integration Testing  Non-Functional Testing   Analyse business requirements and develop effective test strategies.
