Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer required for Gloucester (GL1) based manufacturing company. Working 36 hours over 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday (7.30am to 5pm), paying up to 42,000 DOE Our client is a well-respected manufacturing company with a long-standing history in the Gloucester area and a diverse range of clients ranging from Gas and Oil, Green Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Pharmaceutical are currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their Team on a Permanent basis. The role of Quality Engineer will involve, but is not restricted to the following duties: Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemInvestigate internal, supplier and customer non-conformance''s and establish effective root cause/corrective actionsCreation of technical documentation packsLead and support corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving techniquesPrepare and manage 8D reports and other customer quality documentation where requiredInvolvement internal, customer, supplier and certification body auditsWork with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performanceHelp with new product introduction, engineering changes and process improvementsSupport environmental objectives, including waste reduction and continual improvement of environmental performanceIdentify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, waste and the cost of poor qualityEnsure quality and ..... full job details .....
