Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerKeeping quality approvals in place is only part of this role. At a Sheffield manufacturer of nickel based alloy and stainless steel forgings and rolled rings, you''ll also help turn audit findings and quality data into practical improvements. You''ll take responsibility for audits, investigations and corrective actions, supporting consistent quality practices across operations supplying Oil and Gas, Energy, Engineering, Aerospace and Defence markets.Reporting directly to the Group Quality Manager, you''ll help maintain ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9120 approvals and support future accreditations. The business sits within a six-company steel and engineering group, so your work will extend beyond site-level systems to projects that bring greater consistency to quality procedures across the group.You''ll have additional day to day support at the employing site and work with technical colleagues to investigate non-conformances. The remit combines management systems with practical quality support, including supplier onboarding, calibration and workforce training.
