Quality EngineerDays RolePermanentShillito Group are working with a well established, highly regulated manufacturing business looking to strengthen their quality function with an experienced Quality Engineer.This is a hands on role, working closely with production and engineering to improve quality performance, reduce defects, and ensure processes are controlled and compliant.The RoleMaintain a strong shopfloor presence, ensuring quality is controlled at sourceLead root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC) and implement corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement across scrap, rework and process capabilityAnalyse data to identify trends and areas for improvementApply statistical methods (SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA) to strengthen process controlSupport validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) where requiredEnsure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirementsSupport audits (internal, customer and regulatory)Work cross-functionally to implement sustainable improvementsDevelop and improve SOPs and quality documentationSupport customer issue resolution and improve overall performanceWhat They''re Looking ForBackground in manufacturing / engineering qualityStrong problem-solving capability with a structured approachExperience using data and statistical tools to drive improvementUnderstanding of working within regulated environmentsAble to influence across teams and drive change on the shopfloorComfortable being hands on and visible in productionAdditional Experience ..... full job details .....
