Quality Engineer for leading Chemical and Materials Manufacturer - West Yorkshire

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8am to 4.30pm, but can be flexible around this).

Location: West Yorkshire
Duration: Permanent position.
Salary: Up to £42k (depending on your skills and experience)
You will be involved in:
- Quality investigations (RCA, CAPA).
- Provide plant support with Non-conformances and working with R&D to find appropriate solutions.
- Reporting quality measurements against KPIs and internal auditing.
- Collating and reviewing data to make improvements to site operations and quality.
- Look at and implementing continuous improvement activities across the site, running your own projects.
What do you need to be considered?
You will need
- Science or engineering qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience of Quality systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing).
- Excellent team working experience.
- Knowledge of Continuous improvement - lean & six sigma principles in relation to problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
