Quality EngineerWest Yorkshire Full-Time Permanent - Monday-Friday on site Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a hands-on role where you can genuinely influence quality, reduce rejects and drive continuous improvement?We are working with a well-established global manufacturer in West Yorkshire who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and play a key role in improving quality performance across the site.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, data analysis, auditing and continuous improvement, rather than simply maintaining paperwork. Responsibilities • Drive month-on-month reject reduction across the business.• Lead and support root cause and problem-solving activities, including 8D, A3, 5 Why and Fishbone.• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.• Support internal, customer and third-party ISO9001 audits.• Carry out process, product and compliance audits.• Work closely with suppliers to drive quality and improvement initiatives.• Oversee process capability studies and SPC activity.• Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activity.• Manage customer and internal non-conformances through to resolution.• Ensure quality data, dashboards, KPIs and corrective actions are accurate and up to date.• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, QA and suppliers to improve processes and standards. The Person• Previous industry experience working within a Quality Engineer role.• A degree in an engineering discipline.• ..... full job details .....
