Quality Engineer Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Commutable from Oxford, Didcot, Wantage, Witney) £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits Full-time / Permanent Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to join a growing precision engineering manufacturer supplying highly regulated industries? This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across a modern manufacturing environment. You''ll work closely with customers, suppliers and production teams, supporting complex engineering projects and driving quality improvement initiatives. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-precision components and continues to invest in its manufacturing and inspection capabilities, including advanced CMM technology. This position would suit a proactive Quality Engineer with a mechanical engineering background, strong inspection knowledge and experience working within a precision manufacturing environment. The Role Manage customer and supplier quality issues, non-conformances and complaints using 8D and 5 Why methodologies Conduct system, process and supplier audits while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business Produce inspection reports, quality documentation, quality control plans and manufacturing instructions from customer requirements The Person Experienced Quality Engineer with at least 5 years'' experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of inspection ..... full job details .....
