We design, manufacture and support military large-calibre weapon systems used by the British Army and international customers.Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to take responsibility for quality planning, coordination, and assurance across the new manufacturing plant.What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities: Structured planning and supervision of projects and orders in the area of quality planningAct as central point of contact for quality issues relating to weapons systems for internal interfaces (quality, development, production, purchasing) and external partners (public clients, suppliers, customers)Creation and maintenance of quality-related documentation, in particular QM plans, Q reports, acceptance programmes, reports and presentationsActive participation in project meetings, including independent derivation and tracking of tasksConducting, collaborating on and moderating FMEA and design reviewsQuality support for production, integration and testing processesMonitoring compliance with requirements for weapon systems and supporting validation and acceptance testsPerforming statistical quality evaluations for components and products using appropriate methodsRecording, evaluating and tracking measures for Q reports in SAPWHAT QUALIFICATIONS ..... full job details .....
