  • Create, execute, review and report on product and process qualification testing.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
  • Support fault finding and investigation of customer returns, working closely with Production, Engineering and R&D.
  • Review and approve small process deviations and product concessions, ensuring these are appropriately documented.
  • Review verification and validation activities for existing and new processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

About You as a Quality Engineer

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience within aerospace, automotive or another highly regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Practical engineering knowledge and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience using quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, Control Plans and Ishikawa/root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, Sales, customers and suppliers.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to identify issues, investigate root causes and drive improvements through to completion.
