Quality EngineerLocation: Immingham Docks (DN40 2LZ)Contract Duration: 2-Year Contract (Long-term)Rate / Salary: 55,000 p.a. + Package OR 450/day (Outside IR35)Project: Major Marine Infrastructure / Eastern Ro-Ro Terminal DevelopmentAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work on a high-profile, major infrastructure development at Immingham Docks.This role focuses on implementing the Project Quality Management System, conducting detailed site inspections, managing quality documentation, and driving a robust "Right First Time" quality culture across the project.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management: Support the Project Quality Management System and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).Inspections and Audits: Perform internal audits, surveillances, and site inspections to ensure full compliance with specified standards.Documentation: Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), handover documentation, and material compliance records.Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with key stakeholders, subcontractors, and delivery teams, attending progress and quality focus meetings.Requirements and QualificationsEducation: Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or quality discipline.Experience: Proven Quality Assurance / Quality Control background within major construction or infrastructure projects.Certifications: Valid CSCS card and membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., CQI/IRCA).Technical Skills: Strong working ..... full job details .....
