Quality Engineer - Surrey

We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established, technology-led manufacturing business based in Surrey.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will take ownership of product quality issues, lead root cause investigations and corrective actions, and work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and defect prevention.

Key responsibilities will include managing quality issues through to resolution, leading structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA and SPC, supporting new product introduction, reviewing engineering changes and monitoring key quality performance measures.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing/production environment

• Experience within medical devices, pharma, biotech or another highly regulated industry

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001

• Strong practical experience of 8D and root cause analysis

• Experience of Lean/continuous improvement techniques

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience within life sciences or plastics/injection moulding would be advantageous.

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Surrey.
