Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - SurreyWe are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established, technology-led manufacturing business based in Surrey.Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will take ownership of product quality issues, lead root cause investigations and corrective actions, and work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and defect prevention.Key responsibilities will include managing quality issues through to resolution, leading structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA and SPC, supporting new product introduction, reviewing engineering changes and monitoring key quality performance measures.We are looking for someone with:Proven Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing/production environmentExperience within medical devices, pharma, biotech or another highly regulated industryKnowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001Strong practical experience of 8D and root cause analysisExperience of Lean/continuous improvement techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience within life sciences or plastics/injection moulding would be advantageous.This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Surrey.IMPORTANT: Applicants must already have full, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
