Quality Engineer

Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our well-established clients based in Worcestershire who are a leading manufacturer of complex and safety-critical engineering parts for the defence and transport sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and safety and ensuring that all safety-critical products and components meet specification requirements. Main Responsibilities: Implement and perform first-off, in-process and final inspections and with the ability to use precision measuring equipment which include: verniers, height gauges and multi-axis Measurement Arms Verification of compliance with engineering drawings and individual customer quality requirements Complete and support First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Investigate customer concerns, responsible for raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Consistently identify opportunities for improvement within the department and record all improvements Maintain accurate inspection and calibration records in line with national standards Maintaining a continuous workflow and identifying issues affecting smooth operations to meet customer demand Responsible for ongoing training of shop floor ..... full job details .....
