Quality Engineer Part Time

Our client has established an excellent reputation in the the area of engineering, covering turning and milling from the simplest levels through to complex multi axis setups.  They are looking for a Part-Time Quality Engineer to join their successful team.  Working approximately 18 hours per week, over 3 days.

Duties include:-

Booking materials in

Labelling and checking

Inspection of current work

Checking on running work and first offs on newly set jobs

Ensuring the job is correct.

Managing the quality systems

Keeping measuring tools calibrated within the system

Addressing quality issues on incoming supplies, rejects and returns, as well as the Companies our own quality issues.

Looking after audits and keeping records in order. 

Doing work to keep ISO9001 system in order and helping with yearly BSI audits.

This is a hands on role, the person will be circulating the workshop and picking up on jobs that need to be done.
