Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Owen Daniels are supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing business in recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong production or manufacturing engineering background, looking to play a key role in driving quality improvements across the business.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely containment, investigation, and closureConduct structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys (5Y) and implement effective corrective and preventive actionsWork closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processesMonitor quality performance, analyse trends, and drive continuous improvement activitiesSupport internal and external audits where requiredLiaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure quality standards are consistently metCandidate Requirements:Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong working knowledge of NCR management, 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis toolsBackground in manufacturing or production engineering would be highly advantageousExcellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and analytical approachStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyThis role would suit a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer who is passionate about driving improvements ..... full job details .....
