Quality Engineer

Role: Quality EngineerLocation: WellingboroughSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annumWe are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying high-quality components to demanding industries.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven Quality Engineer who enjoys getting involved on the shop floor, solving problems, improving processes, and driving quality performance across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure products and processes meet both customer and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and internal quality issuesDrive root cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEAImplement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure sustainable improvementsSupport internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards and customer requirementsAnalyse quality data, identify trends, and implement improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve performanceWork closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve process capability and product qualitySupport APQP, PPAP, control plans, and risk management activities where requiredReview and maintain quality ..... full job details .....
