Location: Aldermaston, Reading
Rate: -48.00 per hour
Contract: 12 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a major Nuclear & Defence project in Aldermaston.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Workstream Quality Lead in maintaining project quality requirements.
• Work closely with Construction Teams to ensure Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) production and compliance.
• Compile Lifetime Quality Records and support suppliers with client quality requirements.
• Manage Supply Chain Quality activities, including supplier assessments, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Manage Non-Conformances, Defects, and Improvement Notices, driving continuous improvement.
• Develop Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality Management Plans, and ITPs.
• Conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years'' Quality Assurance experience within M&E, Welding, Fabrication, or Construction environments.
• Experience working on Nuclear and Defence projects.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor qualified.
• Experience conducting internal, supplier, and ISO 9001:2015 third-party audits.
• Ability to develop quality documentation and inspection plans.
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
