Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary: 40K Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer, to join an innovative and growing client in the Sheffield area. Your key areas of responsibility will include:Supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.Investigating internal and external quality concerns, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.Managing non-conformances and corrective and preventive actions, including containment, root cause analysis, implementation, and verification of effectiveness.Completing quality plans as required, ensuring product and process quality requirements are clearly defined, controlled, and maintained.Supporting New Product Introduction activities, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and the implementation of customer-specific quality requirements.Working closely with production, engineering, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues, improve processes, and promote continual improvement.Conducting process, product, and layered process audits, supporting customer and third-party audits as required.Monitoring and reporting quality KPIs, analyse trends, identify areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Supporting the management of customer complaints, non-conforming products, ..... full job details .....
