Quality Engineer (multiple hires) | Swindon Hybrid | Up to £55,000 andamp; Bonus andamp; Benefits SR2 is partnering with an exciting client that is transforming how quality is built into software delivery This is a hands on Quality Engineer role for someone who sees quality as an engineering discipline, not a final testing checkpoint. You''ll work directly with developers to prevent defects early, build robust automation, and help embed quality into every stage of delivery.What you''ll be doing:Owning and evolving automated test suites across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers;Building automation within a modern .NET engineering environment;Embedding quality gates into CI/CD pipelines, including coverage thresholds, automated checks, and build-breaking controls;Championing shift-left quality practices across delivery teams;supporting observability across services, including logging, alerting, and synthetic monitoringExploring safe and governed AI assisted testing approaches;Defining and maintaining test strategy across automation and exploratory testing;Working closely with engineers to triage defects, identify root causes, and improve quality at source;Providing evidence-based quality insights to support release decisionsWhat you''ll bring;Experience as a Quality Engineer, SDET, Automation Engineer, or Software Developer in Test''strong hands-on automation experience in live software environments''solid .NET development skills and the ability to write clean, ..... full job details .....
