Quality Engineer

Job Role: Quality Engineer Location: Sheffield Salary: Circa 40k Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, energy and engineering. Due to continued growth, they''re seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality systems, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsbilities Maintain and improve quality systems including ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120. Conduct internal audits and support external audits. Investigate non-conformances using 8D, 5 Why and Ishikawa methodologies. Drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). Analyse quality data and support continuous improvement projects. Maintain calibration, training and quality documentation systems. Support supplier quality activities and new supplier approvals. Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120 standards. Auditing experience and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Manufacturing or engineering background preferred. NADCAP knowledge Salary and Benefits Competitive salary dependent on experience.
