Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about meeting and exceeding customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Direct project quality activities and promote a positive quality, safety, and environmental cultureLiaise with clients and suppliers on quality-related topicsEnsure timely and effective internal and external quality concern investigationsUndertake internal quality audits, supplier audits, and act as a guide during customer and third-party certification auditsConduct and generate First Article Inspection Report reviews/approvals and manage PPAPs for assigned projectsFacilitate structured 8D problem-solving activities to ensure customer satisfaction and problem recurrence preventionWork closely with the QHSE Manager to implement, maintain, and improve the business management system at the local facilityEngage with suppliers, execute cross-functional collaboration, and handle drawings confidentlyProvide quality assurance to the senior leadership team during periods of rapid growthJob Requirements:Degree in Engineering or equivalent Quality disciplineQualified Lead Auditor for ISO9001, with ISO14001 and ISO45001 highly desirableExperience with APQP and PPAP is advantageousPrevious experience within a manufacturing environmentGood communication skillsBenefits:Competitive salaryOpportunity to work on impactful projects within the Defence sectorHybrid working - 3 days onsite (Must be ..... full job details .....
