      <description>Location: Coventry | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role in supporting the design, manufacture, and delivery of aerospace products that meet stringent customer and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial part in developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality systems, processes, and tools, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.   Main Duties:    Govern key business metrics demonstrating compliance to AS9100/AS13100/ISO9001, customer, and regulatory requirements  Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA), Product and Process audits to industry standards (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100/9110/9120, CAA, EASA etc.)  Review First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102  Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the value stream, ensuring product safety and reliability  Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality records, inspection reports, and compliance evidence as per aerospace industry requirements  Provide quality support to the value stream(s)  Ensure containment for concerns are implemented and drive root cause, corrective action...</description>
