      <description>Location: Harlow | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Our client, a prominent force in the Defence &amp; Security sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer on a contract basis to join their team in Harlow. This Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role spans 3-4 months with an essential focus on QA/ENG Test witnessing. Our client is looking for a professional capable of operating in a complex engineering and legislative environment whilst contributing to high-profile programmes delivered to customers in both the UK and internationally.   Key Responsibilities:    Perform First Article Inspections (FAIRs), preferably to AS9102 standards.  Investigate defects to identify and address root causes.  Maintain quality records using QPulse.  Monitor and report status effectively and timely for assigned programmes or areas of responsibility.  Interface and communicate with programme and functional areas to support business goals.  Conduct Quality Audits including product release and process audits.  Provide support during external accreditation audits &amp; knowledge of regulatory requirements (AS9100 &amp; ISO 9001).
