Quality Engineer Abingdon, Oxfordshire £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum + Benefits! We at JKR are working closely with a leading manufacturer, who are recruiting a Quality Engineer to join their team! Quality Engineer Job Purpose: The successful candidate will provide a professional Quality Engineering service to the business, with a primary focus on Manufacturing Quality Control. The role will work closely with Manufacturing, customers and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are understood and achieved, whilst supporting inspection, measurement, auditing and continuous improvement activities. Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities: Liaise directly with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related issues Work closely with Manufacturing teams, identifying and reporting quality shortfalls and supporting effective resolutions Train Operators in inspection techniques and the correct use of inspection and measurement equipment Prepare inspection equipment work instructions and support the development of effective inspection processes Assist with the management of the measurement and test equipment calibration system Set adjustable measurement and test equipment for use by Manufacturing Operators Recommend and support improvements to inspection and quality techniques, processes and equipment Interpret customer quality requirements and translate these into detailed Manufacturing Instructions Compile final inspection trend analysis and quality reports Manage Non-Conformances ..... full job details .....
