Quality Engineer

My leading Tier 2 Automotive supplier are looking to expand due to growth and looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. Operating from multiple facilities in the West Midlands, they have built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Duties:- Ensure Quality control and Quality assurance for high volume Review and Analyse Non-Conforming Product (NCP) on a Daily Basis. Lead the operations team in root cause analysis and continual improvement techniques. Management of QMS and drive towards new standards IATF and ISO 14001 Using quality tools to drive continuous improvement to the business. Assist in NPI and APQP documentation as required, including PPAP documentation Quality management of customer and suppliers Lead site auditing, systems, process and product Lead customer and external audits Key Skills:- Management of small teams in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications Sound understanding of inspection techniques. Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements. Knowledge of IATF (essential) and VDA 6.3 audit policies and procedure requirements Knowledge of health and safety and environmental procedures Must have experience in Quality Engineering in an Automotive Environment Initiative and problem-solving abilities Good communication and time management skills Customer focused Conversant with Microsoft systems such as outlook, word and excel etc ..... full job details .....
