Quality EngineerRugby£35,000 - £45,000Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:00pm Fri 7:30am-1:30pm We are working with a well-established engineering organisation within the power and industrial sector who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their workshop operation in Rugby.This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are maintained across projects and manufacturing processes.The RoleAs Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products, components and documentation meet required standards while supporting continuous improvement across the workshop.Responsibilities include:Carrying out component and product inspections to specificationSupporting APQP, NPI and FMEA processesProducing First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102)Developing and maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentationInvestigating non-conformances and conducting root cause analysis (8D, A3, 5 Whys)Supporting internal, external and customer auditsMonitoring and reporting quality metrics and performanceWorking closely with production teams to embed quality throughout the manufacturing processConducting supplier visits and audits where requiredThe CandidateWe are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.You will ideally have:An electrical or mechanical engineering backgroundPrevious experience working in a production / workshop ..... full job details .....
