Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Permanent - Days - Tewkesbury - Fulltime - £42,000 - £46,000 + Excellent Benefits Our client, a specialist precision engineering manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, NPI and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on position working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, investigating quality issues, driving root-cause activity and implementing sustainable improvements. Responsibilities: Investigate internal, customer and supplier quality issues Lead structured root-cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions Support NPI and ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented Support APQP, PPAP, FAIR, MSA/Gage RandR, SPC and CAPA activities Develop and maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, process flows and inspection plans Manage non-conforming product, containment and disposition Analyse quality data including scrap, rework, defects and customer complaints Conduct process, product, internal and supplier audits Support supplier corrective actions and performance improvement Review engineering changes and assess quality impact Produce and maintain quality procedures, work instructions and inspection standards Support FAIRs, Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans Work directly with production teams to reduce defects and improve manufacturing processes Promote a proactive, zero-defect and ..... full job details .....
