Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: OldburyContract Type: Full time, permanentSalary: Circa £50,000 depending on experienceHours Of Work: 8am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am till 1.30pm FridayThe RoleWorking for an established, successful and respected manufacturing business operating predominantly within the Automotive industry supply chain. As an experienced Quality Engineer you will be required to lead all quality related process in support of customer and production requirements. Key Responsibilities Customer and Internal Concern resolutionSystem, Process and Product AuditingSupport NPI - APQP Quality requirementsSupport internal training in Quality related aspectsSupport both Customer and Supplier AuditsLead investigations using 8D methodologyGenerate and distribute associated Quality Reports to key stake holdersDrive quality improvements within manufacturing Accountabilities Internal Audits to be completed to planClosure of 8D report to required timingsEnsure process adherence at all timesEnsure quality data and reports are completed to the required timingsEnsure associates are aware of the required Quality StandardsEnsure associates are adequately trained to perform their duties Technical Skill Requirements IATF16949 Internal Auditor as a minimum (Second Party desirable)First Tier Automotive supply experience (5 + years desirable)Core Tools (APQP - PPAP- FMEA -Control Plan)In depth knowledge and experience in using 8D methodologyIntermediate Microsoft Office ..... full job details .....
