Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: Sunbury-on-Thames - On-siteRole Type: PermanentSalary: Competitive depending on experience Our client, an established aerospace manufacturing firm in Sunbury-on-Thames, require an experienced Quality Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team. Candidates would need to have lived and worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for BPSS security clearance. What the role of the Quality Engineer entails:Some of the main duties of the Quality Engineer will include:Produce and submit First Article Reports to customers and validate incoming supplier reportsMonitor and escalate, where necessary, internal product quality issuesLead cross functional problem solving teams in line with the business'' standard processes to ensure effective and robust corrective action is implementedSupport the implementation and maintenance of quality metricsResponsible for release of Product in accordance with EASA Form 1 Requirements (CAA Part 21 and 145), FAR 145 and Certificate of Conformity of all products from the business site, including delegating responsibility during absences (following a period of training)Achieve and maintain delegated quality responsibility from Customers and where necessary delegate to other competent individuals.Lead and host audits carried out by customers and third partiesCarry out internal audits in accordance with Company programme.Deputising for the Quality Manager What experience you need to be the successful Quality ..... full job details .....
